Fifteen years after the first Lyon Conference, the Local Organizing Committee is pleased to invite you in Lyon to the 9th International Conference on Catalysis in Membrane Reactors . This meeting will be held from June 28th to July 2nd, 2009 on the La Doua campus of the University of Lyon. The aim of the ICCMR conferences is to bring together academic and industrial scientists of the membrane, catalysis and process engineering fields, in order to stimulate contacts and promote progresses in the area.

As well as Lyon in 1994, the previous meetings were organized in, Moscow (1996), Copenhagen (1998), Zaragoza (2000), Dalian (2002), Lahnstein (2004), Cetraro (2005) and Kolkata (2007).

The conference will cover all types of Catalytic Membrane Reactors, membranes for catalysis, catalysts for CMRs, modeling and simulation as well as other topics related to the field.

Four plenary lectures are planned as well as 8 keynote lectures and 40 to 50 presentations. The sessions will be organized on the basis of the participation in the different topics. To promote posters contributions, and encourage submissions, a specific organization is devoted to favour this type of scientific communication. A flash presentation of each poster will be organized, and a continuous poster session will allow discussions throughout the conference. Three awards will be attributed to the best student contributions. |
The edition of a special issue of Catalysis Today is planned, as usual in this series of conferences.
Industrial companies are also invited to present their equipments and services. |
The social programme will include visits to the local places of interests, and take benefit of the well known local cuisine. Excursions and sight-seeing tours for accompanying persons are also planned. |
