Instructions for the two-page abstract submission: |
In order to avoid any disappointment in the character and text layout, as well as make easy the preparation of the book of abstracts, the preferred and only format for the two-page abstract submission to ICCMR9 is PDF.
Some files are provided to help you write down your two-page abstract. These file are similar in content (showing some information on ICCMR9, presented in the format and layout of the abstract, with some instructions such as character styles). You can download them bellow, according to your needs. In any case, your abstract should look like the PDF examples provided.
|
- For MS Word users (both Windows PCs and Macs): abstract ICCMR9.doc can be used simply, or for those who prefer templates, abstract ICCMR9.dot
- For users of Open Office (Windows, Linux and Mac): abstract ICCMR9.odt can be used simply, or for those who prefer templates, abstract ICCMR9.ott
- For users of any other software, and for use as a reference, two PDF files are provided: abstract ICCMR9.pdf (printed from MS Word) and abstract ICCMR9 OOo.pdf (exported from Open Office).
- Please respect the left/right margins, the character types and sizes indicated in the text and any other formatting option. Before submitting, you must convert your document to PDF:
|
PDF exporting instructions: |
A file size limitation of 3 Mb is applied for submission. If your file is too large, you may reduce the resolution of pictures included in your manuscript. |
- Open Office users (Windows, Linux and Mac) can use the File -> Export to PDF menu command
- Mac users (any software) can print to PDF using the command included in the Print dialog.
- Windows PC users with MS Office need to install a third party PDF driver (such as Acrobat pro). If they do not have Acrobat pro installed, a nice and free utility to print a file into a PDF file is PrimoPDF.
|
File name: |
Once your PDF file is ready, please rename it using the following convention: Smith_John.PDF , John Smith being the presenting author. |
If John is prolific (ie submit more than one abstract to ICCMR9 - which we appreciate gladly), his second abstract would then be Smith_John2.PDF , and so on. |
